We love the place, the great attention to detail you have put in the hotel design and architecture, the fountains with metal structures, and the stylish rooms not very large but decorated with a lot of taste and thought. We love the breakfast area just a few meters away from the spectacular sea. We love fresh and exquisitely cooked food; we love the rich selection of fresh fruits and the taste of the coffee. We love the genuine people we have interacted with, seemingly hand-picked by business leaders with high emotional intelligence and standards. We are in love with the spectacular sea and with the beach which, although tiny is well endowed with more than enough sun beds and umbrellas. And, yeah, did I already mention that we love the sea and the beach? ;) We love how the spectacular rocky beach is hit by the waves splashing around and how the sand is temporarily or permanently overtaken by the sea water. I’ve chosen this place compared with more than 20 places and Porto Platanias Beach Luxury had the best report Quality/Price – having a discount from the Hotel + 15% discount from Booking + free Taxi offer from the airport to the hotel. We have seldom been to the same places before. However, Hotel Porto Platanias Beach Luxury is a place that we will certainly come back to. Special thanks to Dora and Marion for being very patient and helpful in organizing the trips and getting the bus schedule. Many thanks to the maid from room 206. Exceptional service 😊. Really lovely hotel. It's part of 3 different types of hotel owned by the same brand. This is the adult only hotel. So quiet, with very clean and has well planned facilities. Breakfast is excellent. Service excellent too. Lovely day and evening bar space for a calm chilled time. The restaurant manager was really lovely (although looked a bit serious at first) and the bar tender (Kasia?) was lovely, made great drinks and was very friendly / professional too. Reception staff always helpful. Gym was nice and we used it daily and pools a not too crowded option (early July). Bus stop to Chania is a 5 minute walk and a 20-25 minute journey so the hotel is well positioned. Also good for nearby car hire and a couple of the island's most famous beaches. Local restaurants are also very good. Plenty of choice with a short walk. Sunsets are stunning!

The complex is near a beautiful beach, with shallow waters, sandy, very good for kids. The rooms and all the complex was very clean, there were cleaning ladies all the time everywhere. The breakfast was very good and complex, quality products, the breakfast area is right by the beach, beautiful view, enough space for everybody. There are sunbeds allocated to the the people in the hotel, there is also a beautiful pool but we didn't use it, it has also aquagym program, very good. The parking lot is small, but we managed to park the cars in the area with no difficulty. Staff very helpful and with great care for the tourists.

The hotel was perfectly situated off the main road, with access to a nearby direct bus and taxi services, as well as private parking for hotel guests with rental cars. The breakfast buffet was well organised and laid out, with a variety of food options to suit everyone's tastes - the fresh fruit really stood out for its freshness and flavour! All of the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable for any of the queries that we had, and definitely went above and beyond to make us comfortable and content.

Our room got upgraded (without us asking) which was really nice - ended up with a room with a private pool and even though it was ground floor and next to the hotel shop, it was very quiet.
